Living in an Anarchist society could be possible some day!

What do we really know about Anarchy?

Anarchy is neither a political party nor an idea of organization, but it is a group of ideas based on “dangerous” attitudes of thinking freely. Within the types dealing with Anarchism (it means, the different roots that arises from the idea of Anarchism), the most successful is the one concerning to Libertarian Anarchism; due to its main purpose is the freedom of the human being and it consequently leaves out in such a way the importance of the State. The idea is mainly based on the consecution of a country with no Government, where there can be imposed the industries’ collectives, by means of mutual agreements among them. Contrary to Communism, the Anarchism is not a movement where there can be reached an agreement through imposing the authoritarism, but there is the sincerity and conscience to get free.

There are lots of intellectuals that have been considered important thinkers throughout the history of Anarchism, and they also have inspired in the successful setting up of fundamental ideas of Anarchism in countries such as England and Spain during the 20^th Century. On one hand, Mikhail Bakunin is considered the father of modern Anarchism and he considered himself an Anarchist-socialist that was worried about a freedom society without Government and authority. On the other hand, Pierre Proudhon is the first intellectual that was self-named as an Anarchist or the father of the Anarchist thought. He also came from a working-class family that hardly worked to get a poor salary to survive; therefore nowadays he is considered a genuine Anarchist.

“Mikhail Alexandrovich Bakunin was a well-known Russian revolutionary, and often considered one of the “fathers of modern anarchism". Bakunin's political beliefs were based on several interrelated concepts: (1) liberty; (2) socialism; (3) federalism; (4) anti-theism; and (5) materialism. He also developed a critique of Marxism, which some consider prescient, predicting that if the Marxists were successful in seizing power, they would create a party dictatorship "all the more dangerous because it appears as a sham expression of the people's will". “Pierre-Joseph Proudhon was a French mutualist political philosopher of the socialist tradition. He was the first individual to call himself an "anarchist" and is considered among the first anarchist thinkers. Proudhon believed that collective ownership was undesirable (favoring individual worker ownership over collective union worker ownership) and that social revolution could be achieved in a peaceful manner”. Regarding to private property, according to the Anarchists’ ideas, and especially the ones arisen after the Spanish civil war, there would have to be expropriated all the private farm areas and farm machineries no matter the owner, either the ones owned by the left-wing followers or the right-wing, and those would have to be handed over to the citizenship on behalf of the whole community. The main reason for them is to get the setting up of a community in which the human beings do not need to administrate money, so in that way to reach a free way of living by providing the welfare of all to the human kind, taking into account that all human being has something to contribute to the society. According to Anarchists, by means of Anarchist ideas are the only way to reach peace in the world. Working all together in the enterprises, with no boss and no employer so that every person does whatever he/she keeps in mind.

Concerning to Anarcho-Syndicalism, there may be mentioned that the main idea for them is the proletarians’ intention for organization to get economically and socially a better society, by means of the self-management in a long or short period of time, which is the proletarian capacity of assuming all the duties and responsibilities that the State has nowadays.

“The “Movimiento Libertario 7 de Julio” is formed in Chile in 1957, after a general strike carried out in 1955. Its main precursor was Ernesto Miranda Rivas. This organization is mainly constituted by Anarquists and syndicalists people who are dispersed because of their leaving of the “Central Única de Trabajadores (CUT)”. Their purpose is to create a political anarquist organization (or "Anarquist Party). This could be the first time that an Anarquist party is constituted in Chile. Throughout the years, it has been established a violent image for Anarchism. However, the fact is that Anarchism was fundamentally based on concientization of people (in the case of Spain) for the purpose of clarifying that Anarchism is not only a theory nor a philosophy, but also a way of living. But, it is necessary to mention that there existed the violence as a method to obtain the establishment of Anarchism in some European countries.

“Anarcho-punk is a faction of the punk subculture that consists of bands, groups and individuals promoting anarchist politics. Anarcho-punk bears very close resemblance to anarchism without adjectives, in that it involves the cooperation of various different forms of anarchism. “The Anarcho-Punk movement arose from the musical and aesthetic Punk tendencies, which is based on Rock, situacionism, creative and cultural tolerance. But, the Anarcho-Punk movement tries to reformulate the Punk by transforming its ethical posture with a clear position in favour of the Anarquist ideologies. This movement appears in a period in which the countries like UK and USA were suffering difficult social crisis. It can be found in the lyrics of the songs. Later, inside the Punk music there was expanded the critical thought and political ideologies like Anarquism and Ecologism. “Errico Malatesta was a committed revolutionary: he believed that the anarchist revolution was coming soon and that violence would be a necessary part of it since the state rested ultimately on violent coercion. As he wrote in his article "The Revolutionary 'Haste'":

It is our aspiration and our aim that everyone should become socially conscious and effective; but to achieve this end, it is necessary to provide all with the means of life and for development, and it is therefore necessary to destroy with violence, since one cannot do otherwise, the violence which denies these means to the workers. Malatesta, then, advocated violence as a "necessary" part of the emancipation of the working class”.
